Who are the Gashu Group?
Gashu-Group is a publishing company based in the United Kingdom, specializing in Manga, Comics and Books, which aims at a previously untapped market.
First established in 2007 as a personal hub for a group of student artists it has now expanded today and has become an open source for artists to pitch their ideas and work to the world, with the option to publish their work in print.
Our aim is to get everyone involved in art. From the confident ones who want a serious career in illustrating or writing to those who just want to get out there and share their ideas and views through this educated and fun medium.
Being based in the UK Gashu-Group attends conventions at the Excel Centre in London with three outings to date, including it's first official attendance in February 2008, where it competes with the larger, corporately run companies such as Tokyopop, Viz and small-press group's like Sweatdrop Studios.
What we have and what we will publish
Gashu-Group is slowly growing its library of work, with it's popular series Legend Of The Black Dragon by Gashu co-founder Hassan Graham and Demon Catchers by our young talent Katja Hammond.
Over the next year we are expecting three new series to be avaliable, from artists such as Damian Ryan, with his new work REAP!er, and Nick Evans, with his highly anticipated comic Haven.
